About the Issuer

Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL), a government-owned company, was established to manage Meghalaya's power sector, inheriting the functions of the erstwhile Meghalaya State Electricity Board, and is responsible for generating, transmitting, and distributing electricity across the state through its subsidiaries, including rural electrification efforts. MeECL is fully owned by the Government of Meghalaya, which provides operational and infrastructure support.
