About the Issuer

Profectus Capital Private Limited (PCPL), founded by KV Srinivasan on June 9, 2017, is a Systemically Important Non-Deposit-Taking NBFC, registered with the RBI in September 2017. In 2019, UK-based private equity firm Actis Capital Limited became the company's sole owner; Actis, founded in 2004 as a spin-off of the Commonwealth Development Group, is a global investor in sustainable infrastructure with a focus on energy transition, digitalisation, and supply chain transformation aimed at driving long-term growth and positive impact for communities and economies. PCPL's offerings span cluster-specific term loans and working capital loans providing secured funding to MSMEs in high-potential manufacturing and service clusters, including enterprise mortgage loans for capital and revenue needs; machinery and equipment finance to help MSMEs acquire assets such as CNCs, VMCs, and printing equipment; supply chain finance comprising distributor finance (revolving credit for stock procurement), vendor finance/bill discounting for OEM vendors, and merchant cash advances based on card transactions; and term loans to NBFCs and MFIs for onward lending, alongside exploration of co-lending partnerships. The company also extends funding to schools for infrastructure upgrades. PCPL maintains a comfortable capitalisation level and adequate profitability metrics, an improving scale of operations backed by a well-diversified loan portfolio, and a diversified resource profile across lenders.
