About the Issuer

MCIBPL was incorporated in August 2018 as a 50:50 joint venture between the Marwadi and Chandarana families, offering a diversified business spanning proprietary trading, merchant banking, and equity broking. Proprietary trading accounts for 50% of MCIBPL's total business, and the company shares a common risk management framework with MSFL. Prior to MCIBPL's incorporation, the proprietary trading business was operated by the Chandarana family through CIBPL, and the strong synergies identified between the two led both promoter families to jointly set up MCIBPL. MCIBPL has a subsidiary, 1 Finance, a personal finance advisory entity that commenced operations in April 2023, and is presently in its investment phase, with profitability expected over the medium term.
