Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Ltd, established to serve as the group's airport infrastructure platform for the acquisition, development, and management of airport assets. The company manages six domestic airports located in Ahmedabad, Mangaluru, Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram, after taking over their operations in recent years. It also owns a controlling stake in Mumbai International Airport Ltd and exercises management control over Navi Mumbai International Airport Ltd. Through its role as the holding company for the regulated special-purpose vehicles operating these airports, AAHL is responsible for overseeing airport operations as well as the development of non-aeronautical businesses. AAHL generates revenue from a range of commercial activities, including food and beverage outlets, retail stores, duty-free shopping, advertising, car parking, flight kitchen services, and foreign exchange facilities. The company is further diversifying its revenue base by monetizing land surrounding its airports through the development of airport villages featuring hotels, shopping malls, entertainment hubs, and other commercial developments.
