About the Issuer

HFL is a non-deposit-taking Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) and a part of the Kochi-based Hedge Group, promoted by Mr. Alex K. Babu in 2011. The company initially commenced operations by providing loans against shares and mutual funds to clients of its group company, Hedge Equities Limited, and has since diversified its lending portfolio to include loans against property, SME loans, and personal loans. The Hedge Group has been active in the financial services sector since 2008, offering wealth management services through Hedge Equities Limited (equity broking) and Hedge Commodities Limited (commodity broking). HFL benefits from the group's established presence in financial services, diversified lending franchise, and experienced promoter support.
